Brixton-born and raised, Tanika’s musical journey started at eight years old when she knocked on a local studio door and declared, “I’m a singer.” Inspired by the 90s R’n’B her sisters played, her father’s reggae, and her mother’s soulful ballads, she developed a voice that blends raw emotion with timeless melodies. Her upbringing — filled with challenges, resilience, and a deep love for music — shaped the artist she is today
